  In our world there is a beauty that's rarely seen,
  A loving warmth to someone you've never met,
  O, how I wish that we could be like this.

  It's the helping of a neighbour when their kids are home alone,
  The helping of a colleague when they cannot travel home.
  It's the helping of a stranger when they know not where to go,
  This is the love we need.

  O this love (this simple love) never shuns who are in need,
  This love (beautiful love) brings the bestest out of me,
  I hope (that I) can be (just) like this.

  Though I seem to be a very optimistic bee,
  I can't deny all the evil I have seen,
  At times I lose hope in humanity.

  But it's the little things that always seem to reignite that spark,
  Giving up your seat, sharing lunch, carrying groceries to the car,
  Even just respecting the way that others choose to ID as,
  A love we need indeed.

  Simple love (through selfless acts) brings a smile to every face,
  Precious love (with sincere hearts) overflows throughout the day,
